Egger Laminates

Egger is one of Europe’s leading producers of decorative wood-based surfaces. Founded in 1961 and now operating 21 plants worldwide, including two in the UK, Egger supplies the MFC, laminate and worktop surfaces that feature across our table, desk and storage ranges. Their coordinated decor system means the same finish can be specified consistently across chipboard, MDF, laminate and edging.

Product Range

Egger Surface Types

Egger’s decorative collection spans multiple board types, all sharing a coordinated decor palette so a single finish reference can be carried across tops, edges, screens and storage.

Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC)

Egger MFC is a composite board with a decorative melamine surface fused under heat and pressure. Cost-effective and structurally sound, it is the core material for ØRN table tops and is available in a wide palette of woodgrains, solid colours and textured finishes.

Decorative Laminates

High-pressure laminate from Egger delivers superior scratch, impact and heat resistance, making it ideal for high-traffic contract environments such as canteens, breakout areas and shared workspaces. Available in postformable and fire-rated (Flammex) variants.

Moisture-Resistant Boards

For environments where moisture is a consideration, such as washrooms, lab areas and kitchen serveries, Egger produces moisture-resistant MFC with a green-dyed core that meets EN 312 P3 requirements.

Fire-Rated Surfaces

Egger's Flammex range meets the fire-safety classifications required in public buildings, education and healthcare settings, allowing specifiers to combine safety compliance with a broad choice of decors.

Coordinated Decor System

Consistency Across Surfaces

A key strength of the Egger range is its coordinated decor system. When you specify an Egger reference for an ØRN table top, the same decor is available for matching ABS edging (1 mm or 2 mm), MDF components, laminate surfaces and worktops, ensuring visual uniformity across a complete furniture scheme. With over 200 decors spanning woodgrains, uni-colours, stones and textured effects, the palette is broad enough to suit any interior brief.
