Kronospan Laminates
Kronospan is one of the world’s largest producers of wood-based panel products, with a heritage stretching back to 1897. Operating from their UK facility at Chirk in North Wales, Kronospan supplies the MFC boards and panel products that feature across several ØRN table and desk ranges. Their materials are valued for durability, cost-effectiveness and an extensive range of decorative finishes.

Kronospan’s panel products provide versatile, hard-wearing surfaces suited to a wide spectrum of contract furniture and interior applications.
Melamine Faced Chipboard (MFC)
Kronospan MFC is engineered from wood-chip particles bonded with synthetic resin under heat and pressure, then finished with a decorative melamine surface. The result is a wear-resistant, moisture-tolerant board suitable for table tops, desktops, shelving and general carcass work.
Melamine Faced MDF
For applications requiring routed profiles, painted edges or a consistently smooth surface, Kronospan's MF-MDF provides a denser, more uniform core than chipboard, making it ideal for detailed joinery and premium furniture components.
Decorative Range
Kronospan offers a broad palette of decors spanning classic woodgrains, contemporary uni-colours, stone and marble effects, and textured surfaces. Matching ABS edging is available to ensure visual continuity across tops and edges.
